Kemono Goat/Sheep Head Base Complex Variant 1
Description of options:
What's the difference between eye rims only and eyes w/ whites?
Both options are for 3D follow-me eyes. You can find a picture of these among the photos above.
[Rims only] are just the outside wall which provides the depth. This option provides the best vision because there's no wall to obstruct it.
[Eyes w/ whites] are the edges plus the whites of the eye. These have a cut-out shape of your choosing through which you see.
What do you mean by iris shape?
Iris shape is for eyes w/ whites. The iris is the portion of the eye you will see out of. The iris is the colored portion of the eye, not to be confused with the pupil. You can find an example picture of these among the photos above. If you aren't getting eyes or you are getting eye rims only, please type N/A in the text box.
What's buckram and what's the difference between the options?
Buckram is a see-through mesh material. It is a common material used for the eyes of fursuits and other non-fursuit related crafts.
[Blank white buckram] is just regular buckram. It is not treated to be waterproof and only comes in white. We send these separately so they can be colored by the suit maker.
[Waterproof printed irises] are irises, pupil, and eye light printed on buckram using our unique waterproofing process. Unlike paint, the ink doesn't have to be layered on, won't seep into the holes of the buckram, and doesn't require sealants. The buckram can be run under water without the ink bleeding. It is not necessary to spray sealer or use mod podge on these leaving your vision as unrestricted as possible. The back of the iris is also blacked out to allow for even better vision. Buckram is only available for orders with eye rims only or eyes w/ whites.
What's an iris design?
The iris design is what a character's eyes look like. It includes the iris (the color of the eyes), the pupil, and the shape of light reflected in the eyes. There are three different ways to get the iris design you want.
Option 1. You can ask for our standard look, which you can find among the photos above, and includes a color per eye (which will be made into a gradient), which you can use this color picker to get a code for.
Option 2. You can give us the color code for the iris, the shape and color of the pupil, and the shape and color of the reflected light.
Option 3. You can provide a reference of the iris or send us a minimum 5inx5in file that contains one iris digitally drawn in at least 350ppi. If you choose to send a file, make sure your iris touches edges where necessary (ie. round touches each edge of the canvas, oval touches top and bottom)
What is a chinstop?
A chinstop is a 3d-printed wedge-shaped piece which is glued into the bottom of the headbase. It meets your chin and translates more of your jaw's movement into the head's jaw movement and prevents your chin from slipping forward in the base.
What does plastic color mean? Can you do other colors?
Plastic color is the color the base and eyes are printed in. We only print in one color per piece which means if you want eyes w/ whites, but you want the rims black, you will have to paint them yourself. As for colors others than black or white, you will have to ask for them and we will see if how we can accommodate you. Please contact us regarding unlisted color before ordering.
Wait, we can have these customized? What's a redline?Yep! Because these are 3D printed, it makes it easy to make alterations to the base. There's no need for molds. We alter it, we process it, we print it. Customization such as larger or smaller areas (ie. eyes, nose, muzzle, cheeks, expression) on the base are free, but you have to redline the pictures of the base so we know exactly what you're looking for. Multiple views are appreciated. A redline is sketching the changes you want over the pictures with red lines, hence the name. Also, if you are concerned over the fit of the the base, you can give us a straight ruler measurement for height of your head from the bottom of your chin to the top of your head. If you want larger changes such as horns, tusks, or accessories, please contact us before ordering as there may be a corresponding increase in price.
Why buy a FuzzButt Head?
Lightweight and vents heat:
Ask anyone with fursuiting experience what detracts the most from their ability to enjoy suiting and one answer will stand out above the rest: Heat. All our heads come with vent holes specially placed to make the head easy to pattern, reduce weight, and help vent heat. Stop spending all your time cooling off in the headless lounge and get back to suiting faster!
Doesn’t snap like a rigid resin head:
Our heads are printed with a non-petroleum, eco-friendly thermoplastic that will flex before taking damage. Make no mistake, though! These heads are still stiff and will maintain its shape perfectly.
Comes already cut and hinged:
Does your fursona need a moving jaw? Awesome! Don’t break the bank getting your jaw cut and hinged for you. We will print your order as two separate pieces, each designed to close just where you want it.
What’s more, our hinges are built right into the base. No more worrying about snapping the hinge off the back of the head, getting it caught on something, or having to hide it with foam. These moving jaw heads come assembled and ready to pad and fur!
Our heads take about 2-3 days to print and we ship the day after it finished printing. Please keep in mind that there may be orders ahead of yours and depending on how big our queue is it may take up to 4 weeks to print your order. If you're in a rush, feel free to shoot us an email or drop into our discord to ask about our current lead time. We are doing our best to increase our capacity to meet demand.
Because our heads don’t rely on pre-made molds, we can modify a each print to suit your needs. We offer this customization free to our customers. This applies to species not currently in our library, a custom species you created, or perhaps you want one already in our library but with a longer muzzle, different vent pattern etc.
